The Final Cylon is Tom Zarek

Mark my words, Tom Zarek (Richard Hatch) is the final Cylon. He was also a Cylon in the 1979 series, only nobody knew what was going on in that one. He’ll be there at the end, getting all angry, then menacing, then introspective. Then Humanity will die.

A.F.I.M. Work Report: “Ah Fuck It’s Monday!”

“There is currently a worldwide run on the banking system. The pictures from the Great Depression show people standing in line to get their cash out of the banks. We are in a different age that allows bank runs to occur in seconds rather than days. Companies and wealthy people in the know are pressing […]

Moral Hygiene Film Series: Perversion for Profit

This one’s a warning from Charles Putnam to Brother Greg and goes all the way back to 1965. Perversion for Profit is a so-called “moral hygiene” film on the subversion of American youth through sex, pornography, and of course the godless march of communism. Classic narrative. Very funny. Second most popular download from the famous Prelinger […]

Death from the Vault, another Fallout Post

As you may or may not know each game in the Fallout series has a handy little gadget called a pipboy that acts as the tool to track stats, injuries, crap your carrying, quests, maps and all that jazz. It also keeps track of kills. Now having played the first two several times, and maybe […]

Fallout 3 may indeed get you fired

But not me, I work for the gubament. Fallout 3 is fantastic, everything I expected and a little bit more. It’s very true to the spirit of Fallout one and two without the massive slowdowns or epic load times.  It’s still a pain in the ass constanstly hauling things back to town to sell, but […]

Wall St. is for Dummies.

The real crisis on Wall St. isn’t just that traders and financiers are crooked, it’s that they’re stupid, really, unbelievably, scandalously stupid. According to this 80’s insider; “One of Oppenheimer’s investment bankers stomped around the research department looking for anyone who knew anything about the mortgage business. Recalls Eisman: “I’m a junior analyst and just trying […]

Fallout 3 Will Cost You Your Job

Well, provided you’re not a Fallout video game addict like me.  Fallout 1 and 2 cost me dearly, and I don’t know if I have the spare currency to pay the hefty life debts required by Fallout 3. Fallout 2 gave me my all-time video game moment.  I was walking into a new town with […]
