These guys have put together a database of bars and beer menus, mashed-up with Google maps to give you all the info you need to plan your next NYC Pub Crawl.

I scan through the Torontoist blog occasionally, and this time I found one of the worst examples of a movie filmed in Toronto and pretending to be New York. If you are familiar with Toronto at all, the stills from the Short Circuit 2 are worth a look.

In the wake of the Elliot Spitzer scandal and ultimate resignation, I came across this quote from New York Lt. Gov. David A. Paterson:

And when asked whether he, like Mr. Spitzer, had ever patronized a prostitute, Mr. Paterson could not suppress his trademark dagger wit.

You can say what you want about these guys, but it still sounds like fun to hang out in Starbucks with your buddies, all armed with fake Light Sabers.
