From the department of university fuckery comes the “discovery” of the worlds hottest chili pepper. The Bhut Jolokia, a variety originating in Assam, India. Assam is also where they make ninja’s to fight monkeys.
The Bhut Jolokia aka Naga Jolokia reaches 1 million Scoville heat units, significantly hotter than my favoured Scotch Bonnet peppers, and about 1/2 to 1/4 as hot as pepper spray, and 266 times hotter than tabasco sauce.
I have this stuff in my kitchen cabinet. You didn’t discover anything, so why don’t you just shut up and get back trying to put cows on the moon New Mexico State Aggies.

The Killer Monkeys of India have a fight on their hands! Expert monkey capture mercenaries have been hired from out of state (Blackwater, here’s an opportunity if you get kicked out of Iraq, I want a 2% finders fee).
Some bad Assami’s are coming into Delhi to fight the monkeys old school. I hope that means with kung-fu and knives. Then the monkeys will use their fearsome agility and strength to gouge the eyes of their opponents and feast on their skin. I can see it now, bloody mayhem in new Delhi, interrupted only by constant musical dance numbers.

Fatal Monkey Attack

Monkey Attack! I’ve seen more and more India-monkey-attach articles over the last couple of years. This story has made the rounds in a lot of newspapers, so if you have further interest in monkey attacks, there’s lots of articles available. The poor fellow died from a fall after after the monkey assault, rather then from a monkey beating.

That’s not the best part, though. The article mentions plans to train larger monkeys to attack the rhesus macaques that are causing most of the problems. Does this seems a bit short sighted to anyone else? Now, I’m all for training a gang of attack monkeys, but I’m not sure how this will solve the overall attack monkey problem.

So I was looking up more details on the recent monkey attack in New Delhi that killed a deputy mayor (The Monkeys are learning to take out our leaders!) and I came across this, a pet halloween fashion show in Japan.
