The Liberal Party is Screwed (again)

Glorious leader Stephane Dion has responded to recent criticism of lack of input from French Canada by appointing a new Quebec lieutenant. But the first two MPs asked, Denis Coderre and Pablo Rodriguez, turned it down, so it went to a Senator.
A Senator? Don’t you only use those deadwood (what’s the plural of deadwood? Deadwoods?) for commissions and when your absolutely desperate for regional representation? So yeah, the Liberal Party is once again desperate in Quebec after choosing a French Canadian to head the party. When will they learn that it doesn’t matter where a ‘leader’ is from if no one thinks they’re qualified to lead.

I think he’s qualified to lead; I think his lack of charisma (to some) is the stumbling block. Canadians like cocky (Trudeau, Mulroney, Chretien), over diminutive.
